Method and limits

How the comparison was made

PDF date check: The official zoned K–8 PDF displays October 6 but records creation and modification on October 7 at 13:18:26 UTC (9:18:26 a.m. EDT). The Fundamental PDF records October 5 at 15:17:47 UTC (11:17:47 a.m. EDT). Both files were downloaded from the district links and inspected October 10. Read the metadata comparison and revision-history question. Metadata alone does not identify the capacity edit.

  1. Filter FacilityData to district 52, Pinellas. Match facility names and facility numbers; these numbers are not assumed to be school-directory IDs.
  2. Read column L (Total Satisfactory Stations) and column M (Capacity) separately. Record exact cells for every figure.
  3. Compare current-campus figures with Fundamental Table 2 and zoned K–8 Table 3. New K–8 capacities are proposals, not existing FISH records.
  4. Use the district’s August 24, 2026 headcounts for displayed utilization arithmetic. Do not substitute workbook COFTE or earlier Survey 2 chart counts.
  5. Show date and definition limitations. An unmatched figure is a request for reconciliation, not proof of deliberate misrepresentation.

FacilityData references: Fundamental D2977:M2977; Sunset Hills D3005:M3005; TSMS D2975:M2975; Carwise D2883:M2883; Tarpon Springs Elementary D2972:M2972. Definitions: A1 and A8:Q8.

The FDOE reports page identifies May 2026 as the update date. The workbook’s source note describes district-reported FISH data. We do not present it as a new physical inspection or a guarantee of usable program seats.

The superintendent’s statement and the revised-plan timeline are compared in the decision history. The quote is from Bay News 9, October 6; the PCS meeting schedule dates the workshop to October 6, and the PCS FAQ schedules the vote for October 13.
